Misplaced pins...
So, yea, today I have time on my hands, real time to do real quilting. I get my quilt sandwich ready and what.... where.... are my pins?!? I searched high and low, in this basket and that shelf and no quilting pins. I mean really, that's like a baker without flower after the cake batter is made. Can't make a cake without flower or a quilt a quilt without basting pins. That's what I get for cleaning!
I contemplated going to the quilt shop for more but we have 2 feet of snow out there and it's still falling. I'm not even afraid of looking insane. I am a quilter and I have no doubt a quilter would understand. But, I'm not sure hubby would be to happy with me if I wrecked the car. I guess I'll wait. I have to work tomorrow and I'll just swing by on my way home. Hey, if I'm out anyway right?

Thanks for stopping by my blog ... your question regarding the marker I'm using .... it is a Crayola Washable Marker.
My teacher told us to stay away from blue and red.
Do not iron the markings.
If you use permanent markers with your quilting rulers, clean the rulers with alcohol; otherwise the ink will transfer onto the tips of the Crayola markers and your lines will become permanent. Trust me on this tip .... I know!
I wash my quilts in cool water with Tide laundry soap.
Good luck and happy marking!
